About Horicon

The city on the marsh. Located in Dodge County, Horicon is a city on the southernmost tip of the famous Horicon Marsh.

The Horicon Marsh is the largest cattail marsh and is home to over 200 kinds of birds. Year-round, birdwatchers flock to the Horicon Marsh to enjoy some of the best birding in North America. Be sure to visit the Horicon Marsh International Education Center and the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge.

While you’re in Horicon, enjoy some of these unique attractions, such as; Horicon Marsh Boat Tours, Ledge Park, Horicon Aquatic Center, and the Historical Museum. All of these attractions are sure to keep both residents and visitors busy during all months of the year.

Horicon is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Activities include hiking, biking, auto tours, fishing, boating, paddling, swimming, hunting and golf. Camping is available in nearby Ledge County Park and several area campgrounds. Horicon is home to nine different parks, offering everything from waterslides to golf.
